Repopulating Zinave National Park

388 animals relocated within Mozambique, including the reintroduction of sable and founder population of oribi


The Peace Parks Foundation; Gorongoza National Park, Mozambique’s Administracao Nacional de Areas de Conservacao (ANAC), Tracy and Du Plessis and Maputo Special Reserve


Conservation Solutions in partnership with Tracy and Du Plessis Game Capture translocated 388 animals for The Peace Parks Foundation, from Gorongoza National Park, Mozambique. This included the reintroduction of 48 sable into Zinave National Park, as well as a founder population of 46 Oribi into Maputo Special Reserve. Other species included waterbuck and reedbuck.
