The Aspinall Foundation, Wild911, the SPCA and the Eastern Cape Department of Provincial Conservation
In 2019, we saved a herd of 11 elephants from a drought-stricken reserve. We translocated the animals from a severely degraded park in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, to another more-secure reserve with abundant resources. It was a privilege to be a part of such a cohesive team, working together at short notice to save these animals.
