We translocated 195 buffalo on behalf of African Parks to aim in their rehabilitation efforts of Bangwelu Wetlands. The animals were carefully captured in North Luangwa National Park, Zambia, and loaded onto trucks before being driven to their new home in Bangweulu Wetlands. The introduction of the 195 animals significantly boosted the park’s buffalo population numbers.
